Here is a detailed description of the course contents:

Week One: The Hero's Journey

Ride the waves of uncertainty and build the life you want. Reach within to find your storehouse of resources and strengthen your values and vision. With the support of the group we will build community and examine how to live in a fulfilled and sustainable way. Discover your purpose, your dream, your ‘hero’s journey’ and learn how to overcome obstacles to being more fully who you are in the world.

During the workshop you will be able to:

Get clear about what really matters to you and your life goals.
Challenge and let go of limiting beliefs or anxieties that hold you back.
Build your confidence, strength and resilience to take on any life challenges.
Create internal mentors to inspire you on your ‘hero’s journey’.
Express your personal ‘hero’s journey’ through writing, artwork, dance, movement and group ceremony.
Come home with a practical action plan to live the life you want.

Sue has been developing people for over twenty years. She is a trainer, coach and therapist who also runs a health and wellbeing consultancy. She is a triple Master Practitioner of NLP with qualifications in Applied Transformational PNI (Psychoneuroimmunology), Nutrition and anatomy, physiology and pathology.

Week Two: Be Happy, Be Healthy

Find out how your thinking affects your body and what really makes us happy based on the new sciences of Positive Psychology and Psychneuroimmunology. Learn the secrets of a happy and healthy life in surroundings that will support the process.

Exciting new information (research based) about how we can affect our genes and rewire our brains.
The Endorphin Effect – how to access positive emotions at will.
How to move from fight and flight responses to calm.
How to access the intelligence of our hearts through breathing and visualisation exercises, enabling us to gain clarity, stay cool and feel better.
Develop compassion for ourselves and others by opening our hearts through lovingkindness meditations.
How to listen to the messages our bodies give us and understand our needs more clearly.
How to relax deeply and access your inner wisdom.
Healing metaphors, stories and visualisations.
How to turn your internal critic into an internal coach or mentor, ending internal conflicts or negative self talk.
