Sulis undertakes an audit in order to develop a comprehensive understanding of how people are functioning, at all levels within the organisation. A variety of means are used that depend on the size and nature of the business. Examples include:

Custom designed questionnaires intended to ascertain the levels of stress, energy, wellness and mood, as well as how supported people feel at work by their colleagues and managers.
One to one discussions with key or representative members of each section or department. This activity provides the best opportunity to identify any conflict issues that might otherwise not be disclosed.
A team or one to one discussion with senior managers to ascertain their views and clarify their own perceptions about particular challenges.
A review of the business documentation such as health and safety regulations, policies for how people are eased back into work after a period of absenteeism, statistics on extent and reasons for absenteeism, and so on.
Discussion with selected individuals about the perception and effectiveness of existing health and wellbeing projects or inputs.

Following the audit process, Sulis provides feedback through a written report that will include recommendations for action. This report will then be discussed with the identified Management team and placed in context with the concurrent assessment of business performance and leadership.

A meeting will be held with the relevant managers to plan implementation. It can be useful for the company to put forward a health and wellbeing ‘champion’ to lead the project within the organisation provided that this individual has the full support of the management team.

Sulis will work closely with this individual to ensure that the health and wellbeing plan is realised with support from others.
